Eco Farm Community
@ Krishna Balarama Village
Our Mission and Vision
Eco Farm Community is dedicated to promoting a lifestyle that harmonizes with nature. Our mission is to provide a sanctuary for cows, fostering an environment of care and respect. We envision a world where holistic wellness practices, such as yoga and meditation, are accessible to all, encouraging a balanced and sustainable way of life. Through education and community engagement, we aim to inspire others to live mindfully and sustainably, away from the hustle and bustle of urban life.
Located just an hour from the DFW Metroplex, in the heart of nature, Eco Farm Community offers a unique blend of cow care and holistic wellness. Our vision is to create a peaceful retreat where individuals can reconnect with the earth and themselves. By integrating sustainable agriculture and mindful living, we strive to set an example of how simple, conscious choices can lead to a fulfilling life.

Our Offerings
Cow Feeding
Giving tasty treats can contribute to the cow’s overall happiness and well-being. The studies suggest that friendly social interactions with cows are beneficial in lowering anxiety. The acute reduction in state anxiety lends support to the value of interacting with farm animals in the context of Green Care for people with mental health challenges.
Cow Cuddling
Cow cuddling, also known as “bovine-assisted therapy“, offers a range of benefits for mental and emotional well-being. These include stress reduction, improved mindfulness, and emotional support, stemming from the release of oxytocin (the “love hormone”) during physical interaction with the cows. The calming and gentle nature of cows can also promote a sense of connection and emotional healing, making it a unique form of therapy.
Sustainability Workshops
Participate in our interactive workshops to learn practical skills for sustainable living, from organic farming to eco-friendly practices.
Craft Workshops
Farm workshops could be fun! Several workshops hosted such as art & craft, gardening, cow care basics, fence building and other hands on activities.
Farm Picnics
Picnics on farms provide a chance to see where food comes from, fostering appreciation for the effort involved in producing it. This can inspire healthier eating habits and reduce food waste. Direct experience with farming activities creates a deeper connection to the land and the importance of sustainable practices.
Volunteer
We sincerely value and welcome any support you can provide to our project.
“Cow protection is the most important business of the human society …human civilization will advance only on the basis of brahminical culture and cow protection….the cow is your mother…. He (bull) is your father…..the protection of the lives of both the human beings and the animals is the first and foremost duty of a government…..””

“Growing your own food, protecting cows, even that is much healthier. The flavor of vegetables, when you take from the ground and immediately cook and offer to Krishna and take, then it has so many flavors and is so nutritious. But when you buy from the shop it’s at least two or three days old.”

“”Now our number one priority is developing the farm community. We want to put our best men and resources to develop this project into a wonderful place where we can demonstrate to the whole world the glories of protecting cows and living with respect for and harmony with Mother Earth.”

“Everyone is controlled by the economic system, because you have to work and get money, and then you buy some food imported from South Africa, so many thousands of miles away. But you can become independent of the modern economic system; you grow your own food and produce your own cloth. Even the house, you can make from local ingredients.”
